Dia de los Muertos party
Every year Ryan and Julia throw a big birthday bash. This year's theme was Dia de los Muertos and the colors for the party were orange, acid green, purple and black. For the flavors I made orange cake with orange liquor buttercream frosting , chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream frosting, and chai cake with soy cinnamon vanilla buttercream (Julia LOVES soy chai lattes). I had a blast getting creative with the decorations too! I made fondant skulls and fondant marigolds to top the cupcakes. I cannot wait for next year!
